Memphis Wedding Photographer | Mr. & Mrs. Jansen: An Intimate Backyard Wedding in Hernando, MS
"Well I'll be your rainy day lover, whenever the sunny days end. And whatever the weather, we have each other, and that's how the story will end."
Heath and Audrey have a love that is completely evident by the smiles that they wore the entire day. I don't think I've ever seen a happier bride and groom!
Judging by the pictures, you would probably assume that the whole day was sunny and beautiful, but that's not the case! The majority day was actually rainy and scattered with showers, but even that didn't effect the joy that these two had to be standing across from one another, choosing to combine their lives. 10 minutes until the ceremony was scheduled to begin, I turned to Heath and asked him if they had a back up plan if the rain didn't subside, and with a peaceful, content smile on his face, he calmly said, "It's fine. It will stop."
I stopped by the bridal suite to check on Audrey and to see if she was ready to walk down the isle to the man of her dreams. Her, the bridesmaids, and her wedding director were in a circle praying together for the rain to die down.
And completely out of the blue, five minutes before the ceremony was scheduled to begin, the clouds parted and gorgeous beams of sun poked through.
The sun kept us company and kept the beautiful atmosphere at their intimate backyard wedding for the rest of the afternoon. Heath and Audrey became Mr. and Mrs. Jansen, and when they danced their first dance as husband and wife, they danced to "Forever Like That" by Ben Rector. (which couldn't be more adorable or ironic in my opinion.) SO happy and grateful to have photographed the celebration of the grand love that these two have for each other! Congratulations!
