Top Wedding Venues of 2016 | Memphis Wedding Photographer
This year has been FILLED with incredible weddings at some insanely cool and beautiful wedding venues...some of my favorite ever! I couldn't resist reminising over all of them. So here is a list of my personal favorite wedding venues from 2016!
Memphis Made | Memphis, TN
C'mon. How could Memphis Made Brewery not be on this list? If you're looking for a fun, out-of-the-ordinary wedding venue to celebrate your day at, look no further. Memphis Made Brewing Co. has tons of quirks, string lights, and beer! What is a wedding anyways, other than a big party celebrating two folks in love? This venue is perfect for a laid back, fun wedding. So grab a beer, make a toast to the happy couple, and have fun!
Woodruff Fontaine House Museum | Memphis, TN
The Woodruff Fontaine House is easily one of my favorite Memphis wedding venues. This beautiful French Victorian mansion, built in 1870, is full of charm and elegance, and is the perfect fit for any bride searching for a venue with a classy, vintage vibe. This venue is packed with character and has so many ceremony-spot options to chose from! Courtyards, winding stairwells, and a beautiful front porch, even if you aren't looking for a wedding venue right now, you should totally swing by and take a tour of this Memphis mansion and soak up some of it's history!
Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum | Knoxville, TN
This stunning venue is tucked away in the rolling hills of Knoxville, TN. It is filled with walking trails, beautiful lush gardens, timeless, historic buildings covered in ivy, and stone walls wrapping around the entire grounds. If you're looking for a nature-filled wedding venue I highly, highly reccomend heading over and checking out the Knoxville Botanical Garden!
Shelby Farms Dog Park | Memphis, TN
Okay. It may not technically be a 'wedding venue' but I absolutely love off-grid weddings and elopements! Charlene and Zack wanted to say their "I do's" at a spot that meant a lot to them, and that place was Shelby Farms Dog Park! It's absolutely gorgeous and secluded there and is the perfect Memphis spot to go off-grid.
The Bridge at ChrisLeigh Farm | Lakeland, TN
The Bridge at ChrisLeigh Farm is a GORGEOUS, spacious venue located in Lakeland, TN that is perfect for an outdoor wedding. The entire property is picture-perfect and breath-taking: a giant cabin for the wedding party to get ready in, a little pond behind the ceremony area, and tons of spots for pictures. For any bride looking for a outdoorsy, southern wedding venue, here it is!
New Orleans Pharmacy Museum | New Orleans, LA
Whew. Where do I evens start? The New Orleans Pharmacy Museum will probably always be one of my favorite venues. This wedding venue has so much character and soul. It perfectly captures that New Orleans vibe and is located right in the heart of the city. Whether you're planning a destination wedding or you're a Nola local and looking into wedding venues, The Pharmacy Museum should definitely be one you check out!
Believe me, I could go on and on and on and on, but I'm going to stop myself here before I get out of control!
