Mandeville, LA Wedding Photographer | Huxley & Zach / Mandeville, Louisiana

I couldn't pass up a chance to whip out my camera and photograph Huxley the handsome golden retriever and his equally handsome human Zachary during my trip down south to New Orleans, LA last week. Getting to tag along with these two and watch these kindred spirits interact was nothing short of heart warming and inspiring. So, naturally, I had to photograph it. The sun poured in through the trees at Pelican Park while these two wrestled and played fetch and a hundred other games they made up as the afternoon went on. The three of us got lost in that Louisiana light, and made silly memories together in the golden hour on a Thursday afternoon. 
Mountain ranges and beautiful landscapes may make stunning photographs, but the pictures that capture my heart and truly move me are almost always photos of my favorite people (or puppies) and a good sunset.
