Memphis Tennessee Wedding Photographer | LLFTN Meet Up at 409 South Main

Finding a group of photographers that truly wish to connect verses compete has been a breath of fresh air for me. So often you see people choose to only see the other photographer as competition or the enemy. Or you see photographers shy away from reaching out to another out of fear or intimidation. This group of individuals from LooksLikeFilm have brought me out of my shell and showed me that despite the intimidation that comes with meeting new people, there are people in my city that share my same passion for photography and desire to reach out and meet each other!

We are all a part of an online community called LooksLikeFilmTN, and every month we try to schedule a meet up where we can call do what we love (eat BBQ of course. And if you're wondering, which every Memphis local should, our choice and recommendation is Central BBQ) and, well, take pictures!
Mrs. Rebecca at 409 South Main St. was generous enough to offer her venue to us as our meet up location this month! 409 South Main St. is a beautiful wedding venue located in the heart of downtown Memphis, with it's giant windows letting in the natural light, exposed brick walls, and spacious ceremony and reception areas, it's the perfect wedding venue for any bride and groom.

It was inspiring to see photographers not only local to Memphis, but all the way from Arkansas and Nashville come together to be a part of a community. And I can't say thank you enough to all the jaw dropping, fantastic people that came out to model for us at this event! Seriously, every last one of you killed it.

Looks Like FilmTN has given me more than I can put into words. Incredible friendships, endless laughs, support, and the opportunity to branch out and make friends with the people around me who all have a soft spot in their heart for photographs. I can't describe how blessed I feel to have the chance to form the friendships I have with all of you, and I can't wait for our next meet up. See you all soon! <3
