Memphis Tennessee Wedding Photographer | A Vintage Wedding at Woodruff Fontaine House: Shea & Kelsey Conner

Kelsey & Shea had the most beautiful, vintage wedding held at Woodruff Fontaine House + Museum earlier this spring, and I'm so excited to get to share the details of their day! An intimate first look between bride and groom in the parlor, to the perfectly delicate tea party out in the courtyard, and an unforgettable love between these two, Kelsey and Shae's wedding day at Woodruff Fontaine House was a quirky, vintage inspired bride's dream come true! 

Rising from ancient magnolia trees, the Woodruff-Fontaine House stands as a reminder of an era long gone. This beautiful French Victorian mansion was built in 1870 along “Millionaires Row.” The mansion, home to two prominent Memphis families, was deeded to the city in 1936 and stood vacant for several years. The Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities rescued the house in 1962 and restored it to its former splendor.

And splendorous it is. Every room in this three and a half story home that stands tall in the heart of Memphis, Tennessee is filled with priceless decor collected over the years with each piece having a story to tell. Every artifact added to the aesthetic atmosphere of this elegant wedding. I was so ecstatic to have the opportunity to photograph this wedding with Emily Hatch from Emily + Jacob Photography and document the way their day was through my eyes (or, my lens if we're being technical.) 
 

One of my favorite things about Kelsey and Shea's wedding was that they had live musicians! Steven Bowman left everyone awestruck from the mesmerizing melodies he produced with his violin during the ceremony, and when it was time for the Conners to dance their first dance as husband and wife, they swayed  to the talented acoustic duo (and newlyweds themselves) Jessica and David Epting! 

After the ceremony and reception, we popped over to the quirky, eccentric Mollie Fontaine Lounge that is directly across the street from the Woodruff Fontaine House.
Every bit of this wedding was perfect and personal, down to the tiniest details. So thankful to have worked beside Emily and been a part of documenting this day!
