Chattanooga Tennessee Wedding Photographer | A Waterfall Bridal Inspiration at Rock Island State Park | Moriah Drinkard
My friends Moriah, Jasmine, and I decided we needed a little getaway and change of scenery, so we packed our bags and kissed our side of Tennessee goodbye to explore eastern Tennessee for the weekend. We couldn't resist making a quick stop at Rock Island State Park on our way through to Chattanooga. And by "a quick stop" I actually mean around 3 hours. But who's counting, right? ;)
Moriah just so happened to have a beautiful white flowy dress in her suitcase, and I thought it would be fun to create a little impromptu bridal inspiration photoshoot with a handmade bridal bouquet composed of driftwood and greenery.
(Not to worry everyone. This isn't her actual wedding dress. No surprises were ruined during the making of these photos.)
Twin Falls, the giant waterfall at Rock Island State Park, reminds me of Moriah in a thousand ways. Standing in front of Twin Falls gives you an overwhelming feeling of wonder and adventure; a passion for travel, life, and to experience the world. I often feel that way when I am around Moriah. She's a contagious person that leaves you reaching for more in life. If you don't have someone like that, you are truly missing out. And if you do, keep them forever.
Twin Falls is also very vast. She's big and powerful and strong and the water rushing down the rock is swift. There's a natural beauty that can't be recreated, but it can be felt and taken in and seen by everyone that encounters her.
