Memphis Tennessee Wedding Photographer | A Whimsical, Woodsy Portrait Session at Strawberry Plains | Morgan Faith
Morgan Faith is a picturesque goddess in front of the camera, and she somehow made this stunning patch of land even more magical. We explored every inch of Strawberry Plains until the golden sun disappeared past the tree line and the evening crept in. There are some beautiful wedding venues in Memphis, TN, but we made the trek down to Holly Springs to take advantage of all the lush greens and beautiful woods that surrounded this home.
From the tall ivy covered brick walls, the rows of trees, the old southern mansion, the cabin behind the historic home, and the four green houses we stumbled upon, Strawberry Plains is not only a photographer's wildest desires, but also bride's dream come true! This quiet, woodsy plantation is tucked away on 2,600-acres of land in Holly Springs, just southeast of the Greater Memphis area and is the perfect wedding venue for a bride searching for a southern-inspired wedding at an elegant plantation home amongst the flowers and greenery.
A huge and special thank you to Strawberry Plains Audubon Center that manages The Davis Home at Strawberry Plains, and to Morgan for modeling and being ready and willing to climb in trees, lay in the grass, and be bitten by mosquitoes for the sake of a beautiful picture.
Lastly, a huge HUGE thank you to my Looks Like Film Tennessee community for yet another opportunity to come together as photographers and lift each other up and spend the afternoon doing what we love! Shooting beside you all is a privilege that I am truly thankful for!
