Every once in a while, you need a little personal work to recharge your system and jump start your creativity. It's easy to slip into the motions of day to day things, work, and creating photos that don't challenge and push you. This day was a day to break that mold.
Mike and I snuck away to Wilson, Arkansas on a Sunday morning to see Taylor and explore a little while we were there. Taylor obviously knows the way to my heart, because she took us to a couple of the coolest, slightly dirty, untouched little spots in this town.
I loved the way the light hit the gymnasium floor like a spotlight, giving us the perfect stage to explore our creativity.
The light crept across the floor and inched it's way up the walls as the sun moved higher in the sky, and we followed it.
That's my favorite thing about light, is that it changes a million times throughout the day, giving you an entirely new scene to work with and a new way to use it.
Forever thankful for days like this where I can remove all pressure and expectations of myself and take the time to just create for me, and even more thankful for the friends I meet on days like these. Thanks for laying all over dusty gym floors and being equally excited to show us around, Taylor!
