An Unforgettable Fall Wedding on the Farm in Tennessee | Dannon & Walker
When you imagine the ‘perfect’ autumn afternoon this is what comes to mind. The trees were filled with vibrant, colorful leaves that felt even more bold when paired with a cloudless blue sky. The pond was a mirror reflecting it’s autumnal surroundings perfectly- creating the most dreamy spot for Dannon and Walker’s wedding ceremony.
This was Dannon’s family’s farm- a place she spent so much of her childhood and had always dreamed of having her wedding at someday.
“The emerald in my ring was Walker's grandparent's 40th wedding anniversary that was given to us to use.”
-Dannon
“I have always wanted to get married at the Farm. I lived there as a kid and once we moved to "town", I spent a lot of time at my grandmother's house, which is where the girls got ready. For Walker, his grandparents house is incredibly special to him so being able to have our reception there and to incorporate both of those two spaces just felt right. Everything had meaning! and it meant a lot to our respective families that these places were part of our weekend.”

If I was a flower growing wild and free
All I'd want is you to be my sweet honey bee
And if I was a tree growing tall and green
All I'd want is you to shade me and be my leaves
All I want is you, will you be my bride
Take me by the hand and stand by my side?
All I want is you, will you stay with me
Hold me in your arms and sway me like the sea?
If you were a river in the mountains tall
The rumble of your water would be my call
If you were the winter, I know I'd be the snow
Just as long as you were with me when the cold winds blow
“The first look didn’t take anything way from seeing each other at the ceremony. The ceremony was such a blur, especially the very beginning when I was walking down the aisle. If that had also been the first time we saw each other, I am not sure we could have handled it haha I was grateful we had had a moment to ourselves during the first look instead of it being in front of everyone.”

I think Dannon and Walker speak for us all when they say that Philip & Josh reading Goosebumps during the ceremony was one of the best moments of the entire day.
“Nothing about the weekend felt like a show, everything had meaning. everything was special. every detail was exactly as we wanted. we were in awe that it was happening to us, for us, and because of us.”
-Dannon & Walker
“Instead of having a traditional wedding cake, we had family and friends make desserts at the reception.”

I was totally obsessed with their unique ‘guestbook’!
There is only one way to wrap up such an unforgettable day…
